People like to glamorize it. Its all over Tumblr. People kissing or sending love notes. And they’re cute and all, but inaccurate. Relationships are hard. Its not just kissing and getting the girl. Its freaking compromise and sacrifice. Ultimately, I do love my gf. But its not a romcom everyday. Its hard. You have to deal with circumstances outside of your control. You have to go to bed eventually. Life isn’t a beautiful dream of romance. Life is hard, and there comes a time that you find yourself making bad decisions and saying stupid things. That’s the part of love you don’t see so often on Tumblr.
